People are getting fatter by each passing year. There is no way around it (no pun intended). We are becoming a unhealthy nation. Obese people cannot work or if the manage to work, they are often taking sick days. That is very bad for the economy, well not for the food industry and the fast food restaurants. For some reason the government seems to be reluctant to make changes to the legislation. By banning trans-fats and high fructose corn syrup and by taxing sugar, we could be a much healthier nation. It is a good thing that people are becoming more conscious about the situation and are trying to get rid of that unnecessary weight.
